Jeff Burress

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Dan Huggins officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery near Rives.
Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Paul Truett, Billy Vanhoy, Dwayne Daniel, Dave Bragg, Terry Dunavant and Tony Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Hutchison, Kenny Ray, Jeff Campbell, Dennis James and Steve Becker.
The family requests that memorials be made to Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope, P.O. Box 482, Union City, TN 38281.
He was born Oct. 18, 1960, in Obion County, son of Jerry Burress of Rives and the late Dorothy Nell (Johnson) Burress. He married the former Carla Cunningham Feb. 7, 1987. She survives. He was a housepainter and was a member of Crosswind Church.
He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dylan and Sarah Burress of Nashville; his grandson, Aaron Burress of Nashville; two sisters, Linda Rice of Union City and Brenda Brewer of Oregon; his nephew; four nieces; and his mother-in-law, Doris Cunningham.
He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Sam Cunningham.
