Funeral services for Mr. Provience will be conducted noon Friday at First Baptist Church of Adamsville. Brother Elmer D. Seaton will officiate. Burial will follow in the Old City of Adamsville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of services on Friday.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.

Mr. Provience was born March 17, 1932, in Russellville, Ala., son of the late Clarence Lee and Addie (Inman) Provience. His first wife was the former Helen Thorne, whom he married in 1950. After Mrs. Helen’s death, he married the former Wilma Flatt Morgan of Adamsville in 1988.
Mr. Provience owned and operated Provience’s Body Shop until his retirement in 2004.
He is survived by his son, Lanny Provience of Germantown; his daughter, Carla Lacher of Savannah; his stepson, Joe Don Flatt of Stantonville; two stepdaughters, Debbie Collum of Savannah and Lisa Huggins of Stantonville; his sister, Charlotte Rucker of Adamsville; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his son, David Provience; and his sister, Velera Glass.
