Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Greenway, Tommy Bing, Paul Stinnett, Jason Brewer, Matthew Stockdale and Brian Davis.
The family asks that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
She was born May 22, 1947, in Davidson County, daughter of the late Elmer and Dollie (Lovelace) Adcock. She married John Paul Kennedy July 22, 1995. He survives. She sold Freedom Life Insurance for five years and was a Baptist and an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. She also loved watching her granddaughters play softball and spending time with them.
She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Shawn Cook of Union City; her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Jessica Laster of Union City; six granddaugthers, Kaylee Cook, Kinleigh Cook, Nicole Laster, Gracie Laster and Katherine Anthony, all of Union City, and Raegan Cook of Cordova; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Patsy Cortez Lugo of Mineral Wells, Texas, Glenda and Bob Brewer of Choctaw, Okla., and Penella and the Rev. Robert Davis of Dyersburg; her brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Debi Adcock of Union City; and her stepdaughter, Cindy and Bobby Woodward of Wickliffe, Ky.
