Charles Bennett

Funeral services were set for 11 a.m. today at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton. Burial was to follow in the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the Gideons International in care of Guy Upton, 105 Sunset, Fulton, KY 42041.
He was a member of more than 50 years of Mount Carmel Baptist Church near Fulton, where he had served as a deacon since 1977. He was a retired self-employed farmer and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had lived all of his life in the Cayce community.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jonathan and Cindy Bennett of Athens, Ala., and Temmy and Pam Bennett of Fulton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Gina and Joe Wall  and LeAnne and Tony Perry, all of South Fulton; nine grandchildren and their spouses, Ashley (Bennett) and Greg Clark of Madison, Ala., Chase Bennett of Athens, Ala., Courtney (Bennett) and C.H. Poynor of Mayfield, Ky., Kelsey (Bennett) and Michael Crockett and Sarah Beth Bennett, all of Fulton, David and Heather Wall of Union City, Amanda (Wall) and Colton Rinker of Dresden, Reagan (Perry) and Daniel Muscovalley of Columbus, Ky., and Bennett Perry of South Fulton;  five great-grandchildren; his brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Scarlet Bennett of Fulton; and his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Joel Nabors of South Fulton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maudie Bell (Clark) and Buford Bennett; his first wife, Martha (Templeton) Bennett; his second wife, Carol (Barham) Bennett; and his brother, Jimmy Bennett.
