Historical meeting set

The Tennessee Historical Commission will meet Friday at Paris Landing State Park in Buchanan at 9 a.m. at the park’s inn in Conference Room A, located at 400 Lodge Road.
The commission is responsible for overseeing a variety of state and federal programs, including administering the National Register of Historic Places, placing historic markers and providing technical assistance and training to local historic preservation commissions through the Certified Local Government Program.  
The meeting is open to the public.
