The Rev. Thomas Rose of Fulton, 88, died June 14, 2013, at Baptist Health of Paducah, Ky.
Services were 2 p.m. Saturday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton, with interment in Pleasant View Cemetery in Dukedom.
The family requests that memorials be made to Pleasant View Cemetery Fund and mailed to Ernestine Doughty, 498 Chestnut Glade Road, Martin, TN 38237.
 He was born Nov. 9, 1924, in Arlington, Ky. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Fulton and was a retired minister who had also worked for Illinois Central Railroad. He was a graduate of Union University in Jackson and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He had lived in this area most of his life.
He is survived by two sons and his daughter-in-law, Philip and Teresa Rose of Cayce, Ky., and Timothy Rose of Lake Mary, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Shay Rose Lock, Heather Rose, Robby Rose, Amy Rose, Emily Rose Jones, David Rose, Sam Rose, Lauren Rose and Cayce Rose; and nine great-grandchildren, Mattea Lock, Kinsey Lock, Ethan Rose, Colt Rose, Brody Jones, Sawyer Jones, Pressley Rose, Azlyn Rose and Jackson Ames.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clydene (Burgess) Rose, whom he married Dec. 29, 1944; his son, David Michael Rose; his brother; his sister; and his parents, Alvin and Ida (Samuel) Rose.
