Judy Mehan said she loves her job. Some days, she can even work in her pajamas.
That’s one of the many benefits, she said, of owning her own Mary Kay Cosmetics business.
Mehan celebrated 25 years with Mary Kay in February and is the Martin Business Association’s business of the month for June.
Mehan has been named to the National Queen’s Court of Sales at the annual Mary Kay Seminar in Dallas. She was recognized as No. 13 in sales, making her one of the top 100 saleswomen in the nation that year.
Through Mary Kay, Mehan offers skincare products for men, women and teens, including antiaging products, body care products, fragrance products and complete glamour and skin protection.
Mehan said she was inspired to open her business because if provided her the opportunity to be a self-employed businesswoman running her own business. She said she also found appealing the opportunity to work from home and flexibility of time and income.
She offers gift services year-round, as well as free facials and make-up lessons, body bashes, speciality glamour sessions, “Adopt a Grandparent for Christmas” and the support of local residents and businesses to provide Christmas gifts for residents of nursing homes in Weakley and Obion counties.
Mehan is located at 988 Parkers Levee Road in Martin. She may be reached by calling 731-587-9086, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit her website at marykay.com/jmehan.
