Wesley Tansil Harding, 80, of Martin, died Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson.
  Services were held at 11 a.m. today (Tuesday) at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel of Martin with Rev. Kenneth Springer officiating. Burial was in East Side Cemetery in Martin.

  Jimmy Wright, Bobby Brown, Vance Harding, Joseph Clark, Josh Barner and Larry Wilkinson will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dessell T. Wright and Max Price.
  Harding was born April 15, 1933 in Weakley County, son of the late William Robson and Beatrice Earl Tansil Harding. He was the widower of Monette Shepherd Harding. He attend Stella Ruth School, was a graduate of Martin High School, was a United States Air Force veteran, formerly worked for Dessell T. Wright Company in sales and retired from Leland Powell Fastners. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church.
  Survivors include one daughter, Penny (Marty) Kirby of Martin; one son, Tansil Vance (Sherry) Harding of Dyersburg; one sister, rose Carol (Joe) Dotson, Canton, N.C.; a dear, cherished friend, caregiver and companion, Dorothy Hunt; three grandchildren, Courtney Dawn Harding, Ashley Nicole Lofton and Bryan Vance Harding; and one great-grandson, Wesley Blake Lofton.
  He was also preceded in death by two brothers, William Earl Harding and Reginald Vance Harding; one sister, Rena Mary Trull.
