Chamber banquet slated

Tickets are available for the Twin Cities Chamber of Commerce’s annual banquet, set for June 22 at 6 p.m. at Buck’s Celebration Center in South Fulton.
The speaker will be Polly Brasher, education director at Discovery Park of America in Union City. She will present an overview of the multi-million educational complex currently under construction.
Annual awards for Business of the Year, Industry of the Year, Citizen of the Year and others will be presented. Plus, a silent auction will be held to help raise funds to continue the day-to-day operations of the chamber while promoting the interests of members and improving the general welfare of the Twin Cities, a spokesman said.
Dinner tickets for the banquet are $25 per chamber member and $30 for non-members. They must be purchased in advance and reservations must be received by June 17.
