Free concerts offered during Nashville Dancin’

Music City’s free premier community event, Nashville Dancin’ presented by Dollar General, is revving up for the summer.
More than 25 buzz-worthy local and national music acts will bring new life to Nashville’s Thursday nights. Produced by TomKats Inc. and Kaleidoscope Media LLC, the diverse lineup will incorporate genres across the board, including Americana, rock, blues, pop and country with a focus on Nashville’s amazing local talent and up-and-coming artists. With something for everyone, the lineup is equally entertaining as it is current, offering a live music platform for aspiring and established acts.
Among the early headliners taking the State Water Heaters Stage for the free seven-week event are Shooter Jennings, Delta Rae, Pat McLaughlin, Mishka, Edwin McCain, Donna the Buffalo and Colt Ford making Riverfront Park the hottest spot on the water this summer.
Hosting and kicking off the live music community event is Nashville’s very own, Storme Warren. The well-known television and radio personality,”Nashville’s Ryan Seacrest,” is the appointed host for the comeback of the event with an anticipated 10,000 plus people expected to attend each week. The crowd will not only get to enjoy great live music, but the tastes of Nashville as well. The event will offer fans a variety of vendors as well as Nashville’s favorite food trucks onsite.
“We’re showcasing artists from all genres to appeal to the whole Nashville community, featuring, as much as possible, local talent,” said Tom Morales, a creator and producer for the event. Thursday nights will be a great night out for downtown professionals, tourists, families from the suburbs and anyone in Nashville who loves music.”
Nashville Dancin’ presented by Dollar General will kick off in Nashville’s historic Riverfront Park, where Lower Broad meets the river, on June 13 and continue through Aug. 1. Doors open with a 5 p.m. happy hour and music starts at 6. Additional acts will be announced in the coming weeks, with several more artists slated to perform over the summer.

Nashville Dancin’ presented by Dollar General is making it easy for Nashvillians and tourists to enjoy the outdoor summer concert series, open to all ages, with free admission, free parking at LP Field and free shuttle service, courtesy of Grand Avenue. Patrons are encouraged to use the Pedestrian Bridge.
To help kick-start an initiative to give back to the community, Nashville Dancin’ presented by Dollar General has chosen the following charities to spotlight this year: Dollar General Literacy Foundation, Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and PENCIL Foundation.
