Miss McCollum to wed Taylor on Saturday

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Rachel Lynn McCollum and Seth Hunter Taylor, both of Union City, are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Sammy and Patty McCollum of Woodland Mills. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam McCollum of Woodland Mills and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bob Counts of Hickman, Ky.
She is a graduate of Obion County Central High School and attended the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she obtained a bachelor of science degree in psychology. In 2013, she obtained a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Bethel University. While at UTM, she was an active member of Chi Omega fraternity. She is employed with Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The groom-elect is the son of Terry and Denise Taylor of Rives. He is the grandson of the late Harold Taylor and Iris Taylor of Union City and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joel Gazaway of Hokes Bluff, Ala.
He is a graduate of Obion County Central High School and farms in Rives.
The couple will wed at 6 p.m. Saturday at Lake Road Baptist Church near Union City.
A reception will be held at the Veterans of Foreigns Wars Post 4862 in Union City beginning at 7 p.m.
All friends and family are welcome to attend.
