On June 14 and 16, the international Hay House author Lillie Leonardi will visit Tennessee for book signings at Books-A-Million locations in Jackson and Nashville.
Ms. Leonardi is the author of “In The Shadow Of A Badge: A Memoir About Flight 93,” “A Field of Angels” and “My Spiritual Homecoming,” the first in a trilogy of memoirs recently released by Hay House in the U.S. and U.K. (February 2013).
Ms. Leonardi, a retired 25-year veteran of law enforcement, is a sought-after speaker among national and international press for her historical insights and spiritual reflections as the first female responder representing the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) at the Flight 93 crash site on Sept. 11, 2001. She is also a regular contributor to The Huffington Post.
“In The Shadow Of A Badge” takes readers on a journey of what happened before, during and after Ms. Leonardi’s work at the Flight 93 crash site on 9/11. After witnessing what she describes as a “field of angels” during the initial moments at the crash site, she was forced to reconcile the factual and logistical sides of her life as a law enforcement professional with her spirtual life.
The book also chronicles her subsequent diagnosis of and on-going treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and the transformation of her soul as she discovers that forgiveness of self and others is the key to her redemption.
