Miss Brown, Williams united in marriage

Stacy Leigh Brown and Jason Garner Williams, both of Union City, were recently united in marriage during a ceremony at The New Beginnings Church in Crestview, Fla.
The bride is the granddaughter of Charlene Taylor and the daughter of the late Rhonda Brown, both of Crestview. She is a graduate of Crestview High School and Okaloosa Tech at Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
The groom is the son of Jerry and Brenda Williams of Union City. He graduated from Union City High School and Roane State Community College in Harriman, where he attended on a baseball scholarship. He then attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
The bride’s aunt, Belinda Taylor of Mobile, Ala., served as her maid of honor. The bridesmaids were best friends of the bride, Amanda Nelson of Pate, Fla., and Kim Foster of Knoxville; and the sister of the groom, Angie Vander Steeg of Saltillo, Miss. The groom’s niece, Mary Vander Steeg of Saltillo, served as the flower girl.
The groom’s father served as his best man. His groomsmen were Troy Shanks and Brian Mann, both of Murfreesboro, Tyler Alexander of Atlanta and Clint Joiner of Union City. The bride’s cousin, Christian Taylor of Crestview, served as the ring bearer.
A reception was held immediately following the ceremony in the church fellowship hall.
The bride’s aunt, Karen Taylor of Port St. Joe, Fla., catered the event. Great food was enjoyed by everyone.
Belinda Taylor and Jerry Williams toasted the bridal couple with well wishes.
