Completed arrangements are being announced for Jack Marion “Jackie” Page, 77, of Union City, who died at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville May 26, 2013.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Bible Baptist Church near Union City, with the Rev. Leon Elder officiating. Burial will follow in Cobb’s Chapel Cemetery near Hornbeak.
The family will receive friends at White-Ranson Funeral Home 5-8 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Miller, Christopher Beasley, Lacy James Brazel, Cody Page, Ivy Joe Minnick and Scott Gurien. Honorary pallbearer will be Mark Steven Page Jr.
The family requests that memorials be made to Bible Baptist Church on Highway 51 South near Union City.
He was born Feb. 28, 1936, in Lake County, son of the late Marion Andrew and Addie Jo (Mingle) Page. He married the former Mary Margaret Cravens Aug. 13, 1955. She survives. He was a farmer and a member of Bible Baptist Church.
He is also survived by three daughters and his son-in-law, Mary Jack and Hank McWhorter of Highland, Ill., Tammy Brazel of Granite City, Ill., and Linda Page of Union City; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark Steven and Kim Page of Union City and Dennis Marion and Sheryl Page of Mississippi; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Anita French of Tulsa, Okla., and Mary Jo Craddock of Fulton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jamie Page.
