Sue’s Place opens in downtown UC

Sue Sweeney has taken over the former Bill Cody’s and Double Vision Bar & Grill location in downtown Union City and has reopened the business as Sue’s Place.
The bar and grill is located at 204 South First St. and is now open from 11 a.m. until 1 a.m. Mondays through Saturdays.
Sue’s Place is open in the newly remodeled building and will have bands and karaoke most Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, according to Mrs. Sweeney. She is promoting her bar and grill as having a “clean and fun atmosphere” and said she plans to have an expanded lunch and dinner menu available soon.
Mrs. Sweeney said she has more than 17 years of experience in the bar and restaurant business. The telephone number for Sue’s Place is 885-4921.
