Budget meeting slated

The Obion County Budget Committee will meet Friday at 9 a.m. in the basement meeting room of the Obion County Courthouse.
This is a change of meeting date for the regular session due to a scheduling conflict next week for several members.
Items on the agenda include a report from the courthouse committee (which will meet at 8:30 a.m. Friday); a review of the financial statement from Baptist Memorial Hospital on the Indigent Fund; consideration of a $60 budget transfer for the county Extension Service; a resolution to authorize a five-year appraisal cycle for Obion County; appointments to boards and committees, including the Board of Hospital Governors and Reelfoot Lake Tourism Council; and notary public applications.
The meeting is open to the public.
