Items may be dropped off at Abernathy’s through Friday and they will be transported to Moore by Mickey “Ragman” Keeton, a customer who is donating his time to drive a truck to Oklahoma. His employer, Max Trans Trucking Co., is also donating the fuel needed to make the trip. Families affected by the tornado in Moore have lost everything and suggested items for donation include canned food, work gloves, powdered baby formula and diapers, water and personal hygiene products, as well as pet supplies. “We know that our Abernathy’s Harley-Davidson family are some of the most generous people in the world, and this is a chance for all of us to give back,” a spokesman said. “Let’s pack this trailer full because, who knows, at some point we may be the ones to experience disaster and need help.” For more information, call 885-2054. , , , |
