The following news was received too late to appear on Thursday’s Religion Page.
Mt. Moriah Baptist Church will celebrate homecoming Sunday. Sunday school will begin at 10 a.m., with worship services at 11 and a potluck meal following.
Blood Washed, a Southern gospel group, will present special music.
The Rev. Wilson Walley and the congregation invite the community to attend.

Woodward’s Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church youth group will host a fish fry 5-7 p.m. Saturday. There will be fish plates, barbecue plates and barbecued bologna plates with all the trimmings for $8. The event will take place at Cloverdale Community Center.
