Orientation planned

Union City Board of Education will conduct board orientation June 4 at 6  p.m. in the conference room of the school board office.
There will be no agenda or official business conducted.
Following the regular orientation session, the board will adjourn and then meet in a special session to further discuss the annual evaluation of Director of Schools Gary L. Houston. The vote on the director’s contract will occur at the June business meeting of the board, set for 6 p.m. June 10.  The meetings are open to the public.
