The following cases were disposed of May 13-17 in Obion County General Sessions Court by Judge Jimmy Smith, or fines paid before scheduled court appearances, and were recorded in the dockets in the office of Obion County Circuit Court Clerk Harry Johnson.
The cases listed exclude routine traffic violations, civil cases and cases that are dismissed, unless dismissal is contingent upon costs being paid or other conditions. All others are published, including judicial diversions and deferred cases, without exception.
• Joshua D. Darnall — promoting methamphetamine manufacture, best interest plea to an amended charge of simple possession/casual exchange.
• Jennifer Wilburn — theft of merchandise ($500-$1,000), best interest plea to an amended charge of theft of merchandse/shoplifting.
• Michael S. Flowers — Schedule VI drugs, guilty of a lesser charge of simple possession/casual exchange.
• Kenneth B. Gurien — driving under the influence (second offense), guilty of a lesser charge of driving under the influence (first offense).
• Heather Kolwyck — driving under the influence (first offense), guilty of a lesser charge of reckless driving.
• Mario A. McElrath — Schedule I drugs, guilty of a lesser charge of simple possession/casual exchange.
• Richard Bott — initiating manufacture of methamphetamine, two counts of evading arrest, criminal impersonation and evading arrest with risk of death or injury/vehicle involved, bound over to the grand jury.
• Joe A. Davis — simple possession/casual exchange, judicial diversion.
• Hailey Leigh Pierson — simple possession/casual exchange, judicial diversion.
• Victoria M. Tillmon — theft of merchandise ($500-$1,000), judicial diversion on an amended charge of theft of merchandise/shoplifting.
• Misty Haynes — driving while license revoked, deferred.
• Latoya Jones — driving while license suspended, deferred.
• Lauren A. Lampley — driving while license suspended, deferred.
• Joshua H. Pollock — driving while license suspended (second or subsequent), deferred.
• James Courtney — driving while license suspended (second or subsequent) and prevention/obstruction service of legal process, guilty as charged; burglary/solicitation, guilty as charged on an amended charge of criminal trespassing.
• Edward E. McIntyre — theft of merchandise/shoplifting, guilty as charged.
• Jessica E. Osborne — public intoxication, guilty as charged.
• Jeffrey L. Smith — public intoxication, guilty as charged.
• William Douglas Smith — theft (up to $500), guilty as charged.
• Elizabeth Ward — resisting a stop, arrest or search, guilty as charged.
• Percy M. Brown — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Steven F. Frazer — driving without a license, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Vicky H. Northam — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
• Brandon S. Olsen — financial responsibility law violation, guilty/traffic ticket paid in full.
