Milan girls’ hoops lands big name William “Bill” Bradley has become the second high-profile coach to take over a basketball program at Milan High School. Highly successful in the Colorado prep ranks, Bradley has been named the new head man of the Lady Bulldogs’ hoops team. At Thunder Ridge, a Class 5A school of over 1,900 students in Highland Ranch, Col., Bradley posted a 422-192 record in 23 years with back-to-back state championships in 2005 and ’06. His teams qualified for the state tournament 17 times, and he coached three Parade All-Americans, the McDonald’s National Player of the Year and the Gatorade National Player of the Year while at Thunder Ridge. He is the son of Georgia prep coaching legend Ronald Bradley, who owns three state championships as a basketball coach and one as a football coach.
