Patrol car wrecked Posted: Tuesday, May 21, 2013 5:00 pm The Messenger, May 21, 2013 A 2012 sheriff’s patrol car was totaled Friday night in a two-vehicle crash at Everett Boulevard and Mount Zion Road in Union City. Neither Sgt. Michael Moore of the Obion County Sheriff’s Department, who was driving the Dodge Charger, or the driver of the second vehicle was seriously injured in the crash, which occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m., according to a spokesman with the sheriff’s department. Moore was responding to a call when he attempted to enter Everett Boulevard off Mount Zion Road. The crash was investigated by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, but neither the accident report or additional details was available this morning from the Tennessee Department of Safety’s media contact. |
