Obion County Habitat for Humanity will frame up its 43rd house in Obion County on Saturday with a formal program scheduled for 8 a.m. at 605 North Sixth St. in Union City. Habitat director Judy Underwood told The Messenger she has invited several elected officials to speak at Saturday’s program.
Volunteers have already started work on the house and will be working all day Saturday to frame it up.
Once it is completed, LaShunda Daniels and her two young children will move into the house.
Anyone interested in helping work on the house is encouraged to show up at the work site early Saturday.
