Maurice Riddick, 87, of Dresden, died Monday, May 20, 2013 at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Murphy Funeral Home Chapel in Martin with Joe Williamson and Larry Reagan officiating. Burial will be in Public Wells Cemetery, Martin. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time on Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Eugene Collier, Bobby Collier, Charles Reddin, Donnie Jones, Todd Moss and Landon Moss.
Riddick was born April 12, 1926, son of the late Issac H. and Lucille Agee Riddick. He was a World War II United States Army veteran. He was retired from International Harvester and a member of Adams Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Michael A. (Linda) Riddick of Dresden; two brothers, Frank (Glenda) Riddick of Clinton, Ky. and Hiliary (Roxilla) Riddick of California; four grandchildren, Tony Riddick, Adam Riddick, Malinda Riddick and Corey Cobb; and three great-grandchildren, Emily Riddick, Trystan Weatherford and Connor Riddick.
