Final wedding plans told for Miss Reeves, Overwyk Posted: Monday, May 20, 2013 8:00 pm The final wedding plans for Ashley Ann Reeves and Benjamin James Overwyk, both of LaGrange, Ky., are being announced today. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Hudson Reeves of Union City. The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Overwyk of Hickory, N.C. The wedding will take place Saturday at Reeves Farms, the home of the bride-elect’s parents. The prenuptial music will begin at 5:30 p.m., with the ceremony at 6. A reception will immediately follow the outdoor ceremony. Judge H.A. Nohsey, friend and relative of the bride-elect’s family, of Union City will be the officiant. There will be no onsite parking. A shuttle will be running from 1285 North Highway 45 West, where parking will be available. Serving as the matron of honor will be the bride-elect’s childhood friend, Lindsay Graham Walker of Union City. The bridesmaids will be Melissa Reeves, sister-in-law of the bride-elect, of Union City; Kaley Abernathy, cousin of the bride-elect, of Knoxville; and friends of the bride-elect, Carolina Uniao of Jackson, Amy Davis McAdoo and Lindsay Moore, both of Murfreesboro, Ashley Vernon of Nashville, Candice Hopkins of Franklin, Stephanie Rook of Raleigh, N.C., and Gabrielle Lantis of Ashland City. Andi Walker, daughter of Lindsay and Patrick Walker of Union City, will be the flower girl. Lindsay Maddox of Union City will serve as the registry attendant and Ms. Rook will be the scripture reader in the blessing of the Bible. Standing as the groom-elect’s best man will be his brother, Michael Overwyk of Atlanta. His groomsmen will be Adam Reeves, brother of the bride-elect, of Union City; Shane Abernathy, cousin of the bride-elect, of Knoxville; and friends of the groom-elect, Derek Crump of Hickory, N.C., Stephen Altenback and James Halligan, both of Atlanta, Michael Lowery of Clarksville, Ga., Brady Lance of Oxford, Miss., Chris Neal of Charlotte, N.C.; and Ben Meeks, of Nashville. Completing the groom-elect’s party will be Hudson Reeves, son of Adam and Melissa Reeves, serving as ring bearer. Providing music for the ceremony will be Carly Coleman, guitarist and cousin of the bride-elect; and longtime friends of the bride-elect’s family, Delana Easley, pianist, and John Easley, soloist, all of Union City.
