Miss Long to wed Harbin on June 8

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Lindsay Elizabeth Long of Union City and Robert Clayton Harbin of Jackson are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Tim and Trisha Long of Union City. Her grandparents are Linda Forrester, the late Bill Forrester, Juanita French and the late Ed French, all of Union City, Bill Long and the late Marlene Long of Rives and Larry and Sonja Waites of The Villages, Fla.
She graduated from Union City High School and attends the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she is majoring in health and human performance. She was a member of Chi Omega.
The groom-elect is the son of Jeff and Marian Harbin of Jackson. His grandparents are Roger and Linda Harbin and Jere and Marian Albright, all of Humboldt.
He graduated from University School of Jackson and attends UTM, where he is majoring in political science with a minor in legal studies. He is a member of the UTM golf team and the Student Athlete Advisory Council.
The couple will wed 6 p.m. June 8 in the chapel of First Baptist Church in Union City. Music will begin at 5:30.
A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony at Soleil Garden Center on Nailling Drive in Union City.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
