Crafts for children from kindergarten through sixth grade will be offered at Obion County Public Library Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Participants will be making decorations for the library’s children’s department as preparations for the summer reading program, “Dig Into Reading,” begin.
The crafts will focus on dinosaurs that will be hung up throughout the room until the close of the summer reading program July 15. Children may take their crafts home then, a spokesman said.
The craft group will also make fossil cookies for a snack to be enjoyed Wednesday.
There is a $2 supply fee.
Call 885-7000 or email to jenny.virgin@oclibrary.org to register for the class.
Sign-up for the summer reading program is available at www.oclibrary.org. The summer reading program schedule is also posted there.
