Flags available

American flags that may be placed on the graves of veterans in Obion County are available at the Veterans Service Office in the Eddie Cox Senior Center at 622 South Depot St. in Union City on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. or Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Pickup at other times may be arranged by calling the VSO at 885-2781.
While the American Legion provides the flags, donations are accepted to help defray the expense and are greatly appreciated, a spokesman said. These may be sent to American Legion, P.O. Box 345, Union City, TN 38281.
