Drug charges levied

Several suspects were arrested on drug-related charges in Weakley County as the result of secret indictments handed down last week by the May term of the county’s grand jury.
The indictments stemmed from an undercover drug operation conducted by the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department’s criminal investigators.
According to the sheriff’s department, among those arrested were Timothy Neal Jackson, 37, of 301 South Second St., Greenfield, for sale of Schedule II methamphetamine; Cecil Dalton Williams, 40, of 2535 Boydsville Road, for sale of Schedule IV valium; Joe Lafayette Moon, 72, of 1657 Travis Chapel Road, Dresden, for sale of Schedule III dihydrocodeinone; Samuel Joseph Puckett, 40, of 1220 Cotton Creek Road, Gleason, for sale of Schedule II hydrocodone; Diesha Lucinder Shane, 40, of 210 Avalon St., Greenfield, for sale of Schedule II meth; Clarence James Farris, 26, of 170 Kester Road, Dresden, for sale of Schedule VI marijuana; James Aron Trull, 27, of 779 Gleason Pillowville Road, Gleason, for sale of Schedule II meth; and Sabrina Montgomery, also known as Sabrina Ricketts, 27, of 570 Broad St., Greenfield, for sale of Schedule II meth.
Weakley County sheriff’s deputies are still attempting to locate one other person charged in a secret indictment, according to sheriff’s investigator Randall McGowan.
All of those arrested appeared Monday in Weakley County Circuit for arraignment.
