A Union City man told police he was robbed outside his residence Saturday night.
The alleged incident occurred shortly after 9 p.m. at Anthony “Pete” Glover’s home at 216 South Taylor St., according to a Union City Police Department report.
Glover told police he was outside his residence when three black men approached him, asking if he had the time. He said he told them the time, and one of them produced a pistol and told him not to move.
Glover said he thought the suspects were in their 20s, but he was not certain. He said two of them had on white shirts with some sort of design and the third had on a black hoodie. All three of them had bandannas covering their faces and they were also wearing hats.
According to the report, Glover said the one suspect held a gun on him while the others went through his pockets.
All three of the men allegedly left going north on Taylor Street after the incident. All of the items from Glover’s wallet were recovered on Taylor Street with the exception of the wallet and 65 cents they took from his pocket, police reported.
