Mr. and Mrs. J.W. “Jay” Winston

75TH ANNIVERSARY — Mr. and Mrs. J.W. “Jay” Winston of Reelfoot Lake recently celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary at Lakeview Church of Christ near Hornbeak, where he still preaches. The celebration was hosted by their family and church members. He married the former Ada Kathleen “Kat” Little on April 25, 1938, when they were both 15 years old. They have two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Roy and Dorothy Winston of Reelfoot Lake and Larry and Shirley Winston of McCrory, Ark.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
