Lilliam Porter

Mrs. Lillian F. Porter, 93, of Martin, died Friday, May 3, 2013 at Regional Hospital in Jackson.

Services were held at noon Monday at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Martin with Rev. Dr. Deborah Fortel officiating. Graveside services will be held at noon Wednesday at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, Key with Murphy Funeral Home of Martin in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Porter was born July 4, 1919 in Foley, Ala., daughter of the late Adam and Katharine Prygods Frishkorn. She owned and operated Carlill’s Arts & Crafts Shop in Louisville and was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Carol Dasher Porter of Martin; one daughter, Rev. SusanLee P. (Stuart) Clements of Martin; five sisters, Shirley Satterfield of Bolivar, Nancy Young of Maysville, Ga., Elizabeth Clark of Norfolk, Va., Onita Topee of Richmond, Va. and Bertie Sue Tibbedeaux, of Roschton, Ga.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Trinity Presbyterian Church, 145 Hannings Lane, Martin, TN 38237.
