Expansion announced Posted: Tuesday, May 7, 2013 12:00 am VIAM Manufacturing officials have announced an expansion of the company’s facility in Manchester will create 75 new jobs. The expansion represents a $9 million investment and will bring VIAM’s operating space to 507,000 square-feet at its Coffee County facility, according to a news release from state Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty. “Tennessee is a national leader in automotive manufacturing, and VIAM’s expansion is a testament to our strengths in this key industry,” Hagerty said. VIAM has been supplying the automotive industry with custom design floor, trunk & cargo mats since its incorporation in 1983. VIAM opened its first Tennessee facility in Manchester in 1998.
