BS Music Rodeo now open

BS Music Rodeo bar and grill is now open off State Route 183, between Troy and Obion.
The new initials refer to the two couples that now own the business — the Butlers and the Smiths.
Tommy and Paula Smith have joined with Dwayne and Jessica Butler to open the bar and grill.
Inside the large, wooden barn-shaped building is a long bar inlaid with different types of currency, a large guitar-shaped stage, pool tables, plenty of seating and a dance floor.
BS Music Rodeo is located just south of Troy on old Highway 51 and is open Wednesdays through Mondays. The bar and grill opens at 1 p.m. on Sundays, at 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and at noon on Saturdays. The Rodeo is open until 10 p.m. through the week and remains open until 3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
There is a karaoke show every Friday and Saturday night, unless a band is performing.
Butler usually performs on Friday nights at BS Music Rodeo and the Steve and Purdy Show (Steve Jones and Tim Purdy) performs on most Saturday nights, according to Mrs. Smith.
She said band performances are announced on the business’ Facebook page.
The bar and grill also hosts a pool tournament every Wednesday night, and a cornhole contest and potluck supper are held on Sundays.
The telephone number for BS Music Rodeo is 796-1828 or 592-0154.
The business also has several large screen televisions and they will be tuned to such sporting events as football and NASCAR.
“BS Music Rodeo has several food choices available now and we will be expanding the menu very soon. There will be catfish and steak dinners and a sandwich selection coming soon,” Mrs. Smith said. “It’s a great place to party with all your friends. The sound system is awesome and the good times are rolling.”
