Jimmie Doughty, 67, of Hickman, Ky., died April 29, 2013, at his residence.
Memorial services were 11 a.m. Saturday at the American Legion Memorial Chapel in the Hickman City Cemetery. Strong Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to American Legion Post 57, in care of Mike Sheehan, 840 Noonan Lane, Hickman, KY 42050.  
He was born July 20, 1945, son of the late Mary Sue (Jones) and James Doughty Jr.
He was a retired maintenance mechanic for the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in Union City and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Doughty; his son, Jonathan Doughty of Bowling Green, Ky.; his daughter, Kerry Doughty of Hickman; six half-brothers, William Damaron of Tennessee, Petey Hamil, Donnie Hamil and Warren Hamil, all of Hickman, Phillip Hamil of Union City and Guy Hamil of Tiptonville; and his sister, Nadine Poole of Youngsville, N.C.
