There is no better way to prepare for tournament action than winning your last game of the regular season.
Both Westview and Dresden look like they are ready for district tournaments to begin after wrapping up the regular season with convincing wins.
The Lady Chargers blew their game open against South Fulton with an eight-run fourth inning as they sailed past SF 11-1 on their final game of the regular season on Tuesday.
The Lady Lions swept a pair of games in a doubleheader against West Carroll. The Lady Lions won the opener 3-1 and clobbered the Lady Eagles 9-0 in the nightcap by scoring in each of the five innings.
The 13AA and 13A tournaments, as well as the 14A event, are scheduled to begin this weekend.

Lockhart did not need any more runs as she sat down the Lady Eagles in order in the top of the fifth for the win.
She struck out the first batter, got the second one to line out to Carrie Hatchel at shortstop and got the third out on a pop-up back to her.
Lockhart had two RBIs in the game and allowed just one earned run on four hits in the circle. She struck out five and walked none. Carly Greer had one RBI when she walked with the bases loaded in the fourth inning.
