Receivers, safety
waived by Titans

NASHVILLE (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have waived wide receivers Lavelle Hawkins and Michael Calvin as well as safety Suaesi Tuimaunei.
Hawkins, 26, is the most notable of the players waived.
The former fourth-round draft pick from California had caught 71 passes for 771 yards and one touchdown in five seasons with the Titans.
Calvin and Tuimaunei had signed futures contracts with the Titans in January. Tuimaunei originally joined the Titans’ practice squad in December.
