Job Fair slated in UC

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee will celebrate Goodwill Week by hosting about 40 events, including 30 job fairs, at the 23 Goodwill Career Solutions centers in Middle and West Tennessee.
A job fair is planned for 9 a.m.-noon May 9 for Hamilton-Ryker, Road Runner Driving Academy and Williams Sausage Co. These companies hope to fill dozens of positions in Obion County and the surrounding area, a spokesman said.
The local Career Solutions center is located at 1430 South First St. in Union City.
Interviews are possible with on site representatives of the company and participants are reminded to dress for success and to bring resumés, photo ID, Social Security cards or birth certificates.
