Miss Tankersley to wed Faircloth on June 15

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Ashley Michele Tankersley of Union City and Lloyd Alan Faircloth Jr. of Pearl River, La., are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Shawn and Pam Tankersley of Union City. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Smokey Stover of Union City and Nancy Tankersley and the late Travis Tankersley of Kenton.
She is a 2006 graduate of Obion County Central High School. She is a 2010 high honors graduate of the University of Tennessee Martin and a 2013 graduate of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. While in college, she was a PEP leader, Student Government secretary, a member of MED medical fraternity and was on the Dean’s List.
She is a doctor of physical therapy.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Alan Faircloth Sr. of Pearl River. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Jack Faircloth of Bonifay, Fla., and Marie Meredith of Oceana, W.Va.
He is a 2007 graduate of East Robertson High School in Cross Plains and a 2011 graduate of UT Martin. While in school, he was a member of the rugby team and Phi Sigma Epsilon fraternity.
He is a logistics management specialist with Great Wide Dedicated Transport in Pearl River.
The couple will wed 6 p.m. June 15 in the historic sanctuary at Union City First Baptist Church.
Music will begin at 5:30.
A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony at the Hampton Centré in Union City.
