Brady Weldon, evangelist, will be the speaker May 5 at 6 p.m. at Fulton Cumberland Presbyterian Church, located at 1159 Parker Road in South Fulton. The church is sponsoring a showcase of the work of local artists from 4-6 at the church that day, and Weldon will speak on the topic “The Artist Within You.” The community is invited to enjoy the art show and to hear the message. Those with art to showcase are asked to call the Rev. David Bayer at (731) 293-4629. Café to open Exchange Street Church of Christ will host Soul Food Café Wednesday from 5:30-7 p.m. The menu will include hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, salad and desserts. As always, the meal is free and everyone is invited to attend. Hodges concert set Billy Hodges will appear in concert, along with Under Grace Partners, Jeremy Ballinger and Mark Brantley, May 6 at 7 p.m. at Martin First Baptist Church, located at 123 University St. A meal will be served from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. A donation of $5 is requested and preorders will be accepted at (731) 514-0144. The event will also feature music from 6-7. A freewill offering will be accepted to benefit Servant Leaders Disaster Relief Team. Homecoming planned Cayce United Methodist Church, located on Hwy. 94 in Cayce, Ky., will host the congregation’s annual homecoming celebration May 5, with former pastor the Rev. Dale Mathis as the guest speaker. Services will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a potluck meal in the fellowship hall. Usher Day set Shiloh Missionary Bap-tist Church, located at 602 Melrose St. in Union City, will be observing the annual Usher Day Sunday at 3 p.m. The Rev. John Wade Bryant and the Mt. Olive Church family of Atwood will be the afternoon guests. Everyone is invite to attend this and all services. Chicken plates offered Right Path Ministries will be selling chicken plates, hamburgers and hot dogs Saturday at the Union City Housing Authority Center on East Main Street. Plates will be $7 and food will be available at 11 a.m. Clothing available Union City Cumberland Presbyterian Church will host a second special clothing distribution day as part of a new ministry, “Clothed in Christ,” Saturday from 8 a.m.-noon. The church is located on the corner of Church and Home streets. Members of the congregation and friends have been donating good quality, clean, used, summer or spring clothing on hangers and may continue to do so this evening from 6-8 or Friday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. or 6-8 p.m. Spiritual Tea planned Miles Chapel Church in Martin will host the 39th annual Spiritual Tea Sunday at 2:30 p.m. There will be praise dancers and singers and orators and refreshments will be served after the program, according to the pastor, the Rev. Paul Jenkins. The community is invited to attend. To mark homecoming Protemus Cumberland Presbyterian Church will celebrate homecoming Sunday, with worship at 10 a.m., followed by singing at 11 with the Frog Jump Quartet and a noon meal. The Rev.
