We had several at church Sunday. Rev. Suzie preached a good sermon from John.

Cindy Siglow brought her grandson, Levi, to church.

We were glad to have Hazel Gill back with us. She hasn’t been in sometime.

Bro. Mike and I attended the songfest at Paducah Sunday night. Choirs from different churches sang. It was very good to hear them.

Jimmy and Lois Freeman spent the day in Jackson at a birthday party for one of their grandchildren.

Charles and Linda Freeman have been to Arizona to attend the wedding of their daughter, Chris.

Not much news today. We don’t have a big congregation to have much news.

Steve, Diane, Mike and I went to The Keg for a meal Saturday night.

Monday the church went to Boyette’s for a meal. That’s always a good place to eat.

Thought of the week: “Life is 10 percent what happens to us and 90 percent how we respond.”
