Bro. Bobby Peal led “Someday” to open our services.

Edna Johle taught from Revelation 1:18, I am he that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen; and the keys of hell and death.

We sang “Happy Birthday” to Bro. Bobby.

Congregational singing was “Honey In the Rock” and “Come Unto Me” where Bro. Bobby harmonized.

Prayer requests were made and prayed over.

Special singing was Shirley Bynum and Patsy Baker singing “Amazing Grace, My Chains Are Gone” and Bro. Bobby singing “I Can’t Tell It Enough.”

Bro. Bobby turned to Numbers 13:1-3, 17-20 and Deuteronomy 1:21-22, 23-25 with “Grasshopper Attitude” as his topic. There are people who look for bad in every situation, and use the little word but as an excuse why they’d like to be in church but such and such happened.

Bro. Bobby opened our evening service singing “Happy Anniversary” to Ray and Joan Lainhart.

Congregational singing was “I Love To Tell the Story,” “Jesus Broke Every Fetter” and “I Would Not Be Denied.” Special singing was Edna Johle singing “Power In the Blood Of The Lamb,” Bro. Lainhart singing “O I Want To See Him” and Shirley Bynum and Mary singing “Consider The Lilies.”

Bro. Bobby turned to John 8:1-46, where the Pharisees and Scribes tried to ridicule Jesus but He convicted their consciences by His words and the crowd left leaving the accused woman and Jesus alone.

We again formed our prayer line at the altar.
