| | Gloria Bunch took a rather unexpected guest into her home Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Bunch was joined by her 5-year-old granddaughter, Aleigha Whitson, as they checked on a racing pigeon that found its way to the Bunch home on Albert Owens Road north of Union City. Mrs. Bunch did a little research and discovered the pigeon is owned by Rod Williams of Lexington, who was scheduled to retrieve his wayward pigeon today. Mrs. Bunch took the pigeon to her granddaughter’s pre-school class at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church Monday morning for show-and-tell. Williams told Mrs. Bunch his racing pigeon has been missing for a couple of weeks. | | | | |
