The Union City School System has announced the following lunch menus for April 29-May 3:
Union City High School
Monday, April 29 — Baked chicken nuggets or beef fingers with whole wheat roll, mashed potatoes with gravy, carrot sticks, fresh apple, canned peaches and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, April 30 — Spaghetti and meat sauce with whole grain breadstick or tuna salad and crackers with whole grain breadstick, steamed broccoli, fresh salad cup, fresh orange, canned applesauce and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, May 1 — Chicken fajita or turkey bologna and cheese wrap with whole grain tortilla, fajita vegetables, pinto beans, fresh grapes, canned pears and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, May 2 — Beef/bean burrito or pork rib patty with whole grain bun, baked sweet potato bites, California blend vegetables, fresh orange, canned pineapple and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, May 3 — Cheeseburger with whole grain bun or whole grain corndog, French fries, Italian green beans, fresh banana, canned mandarin oranges and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Note: UCHS offers fresh salad bar options daily.
UC Middle School

Breakfast
Monday, April 29 — Mini French toast or whole grain cereal with graham cracker and fruit and low-fat milk or juice.
Tuesday, April 30 — Steak with whole grain biscuit or whole grain cereal with wheat toast and low-fat milk or juice.
Wednesday, May 1 — Whole grain breakfast pizza or whole grain cereal with whole grain cinnamon toast and low-fat milk or juice.
Thursday, May 2 — Sausage with whole grain biscuit or whole grain cereal with fresh orange and graham cracker and low-fat milk or juice.
Friday, May 3 — Whole grain cinnamon roll or whole grain cereal with whole grain toast and low-fat milk or juice.
Note: Free breakfast is offered daily to every SFES student.
Lunch
Monday, April 29 — Ravioli or chicken dippers, whole grain roll, romaine salad with cherry tomatoes and fat-free dressing, whole kernel corn, fresh apple and low-fat milk or juice.
Tuesday, April 30 — Hot dog with whole wheat bun or sloppy joe with whole wheat bun, baked tots, carrot sticks with fat-free dressing, fresh grapes and low-fat milk or juice.
Wednesday, May 1 — Mexican pizza or chicken chunks, sweet potatoes, green beans, sliced peaches and low-fat milk or juice.
Thursday, May 2 — Spicy chicken patty with bun or hamburger with whole wheat bun, spinach salad with fat-free dressing and cherry tomatoes, chef-cut veggies, Dole mixed fruit cup and low-fat milk or juice.
Friday, May 3 — Pork barbecue with whole wheat bun or tuna salad with whole wheat bread, cole slaw, baked beans, fresh broccoli with fat-free dip, fresh banana and low-fat milk or juice.
