WC students receive scholarships

Three Weakley County students have been awarded scholarships for the 2013-14 academic year to attend the  University of Tennessee at Martin, according to Judy Rayburn, director of admissions. They are as follows:
• Lisa Baskette of Dresden will be a junior. She received the Women’s Center Outstanding Student award.
• Stephanie Sellers of Greenfield will be a junior. She received the Ernest and Wilma Newby Scholarship.
• Sarah Walton, daughter of Mark and Karen Walton of Martin, will be a freshman. She received the Dean’s Scholarship.
