The Union City School System has announced the following lunch menus for April 22-26:
Union City High School
Monday, April 22 — Baked chicken nuggets or beef fingers with whole wheat roll, mashed potatoes with gravy, carrot sticks, fresh apple, canned peaches and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, April 23 — Beef taco with whole grain tortilla or tuna salad wrap with whole grain tortilla, fresh taco salad cup, pinto beans, fresh orange, canned applesauce and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, April 24 — Turkey bologna and cheese with whole grain bread or baked beef patty with cornbread, steamed cabbage, Great Northern beans, fresh melon, canned pineapple and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, April 25 — Baked chicken patty with whole grain bun or crispito, baked sweet potato bites, steamed broccoli, fresh orange, canned pears and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, April 26 — Cheeseburger with whole grain bun or whole grain corndog, French fries, green beans, fresh banana, canned mandarin oranges and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Note: UCHS offers fresh salad bar options daily.
UC Middle School

Breakfast
Monday, April 22 — Breakfast bagel or whole grain cereal with whole grain cinnamon toast and fresh orange and low-fat milk or juice.
Tuesday, April 23 — Sausage with whole grain biscuit or whole grain cereal with whole grain Pop Tart and low-fat milk or juice.
Wednesday, April 24 — Whole grain breakfast pizza or whole grain cereal with graham cracker and low-fat milk or juice.
Thursday, April 25 — Breakfast burrito or whole grain cereal with toast and low-fat milk or juice.
Friday, April 26 — Whole grain mini waffles or whole grain cereal with graham cracker and low-fat milk or juice.
Note: Free breakfast is offered daily to every SFES student.
Lunch
Monday, April 22 — Double stuffed pizza or tuna salad with whole wheat bread, steamed broccoli, whole kernel corn, fresh orange and low-fat milk or juice.
Tuesday, April 23 — Spaghetti or roasted chicken, whole grain roll, pinto beans, romaine salad with cherry tomatoes and fat-free dressing, pear halves and low-fat milk or juice.
Wednesday, April 24 — Country fried steak or popcorn chicken, whole grain roll, mashed potatoes, lima beans, Dole mixed fruit cup and low-fat milk or juice.
Thursday, April 25 — Turkey and cheese with whole wheat bread or mini corndogs, carrot sticks with fat-free dressing, chef-cut vegetables, applesauce and low-fat milk or juice.
Friday, April 26 — Hamburger with whole wheat bun or chicken salad with whole wheat bread, sliced tomatoes, baked oven tots, baked beans, fresh banana and low-fat milk or juice.
