Recruiters attend convention

Hardage Group owner Phillip Hardage of Dyersburg and representative Patsy Reasons of Bells recently attended the Inter-City Personnel Associate national convention in Orlando, Fla. The Hardage Group is an executive search firm specializing in engineering, operations and human resources opportunities. The firm has been in business in Dyersburg since 1996, according to a news release. Hardage stated he has helped several professionals at the former Union City Goodyear plant. “While my practice is nationwide in scope, I certainly have a strong niche in all of northwest Tennessee, including Union City, Martin, Dyersburg and Newbern,” Hardage stated in a news release. During the recent convention, the Hardage Group was recognized for several achievements in 2012. Kyle Penland and Hardage were recognized as two of the top 20 recruiters in the national association. In addition to thie individual recognition, the Hardage Group was recognized as one the top five agencies in the association. Hardage also has been selected to represent all participating agencies in the southeastern United States on IPA’s Congress, the association’s governing board. He will serve a two-year term. IPA is a cooperative group of more than 150 professional search agencies representing more than 400 recruiters in 37 states and Canada.
