Food distribution set

Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, located at 720 East College St. in Union City, will be distributing food in partnership with the Mid-South Food Bank through the Mobile Food Pantry Thursday at the site, according to director Valeria Hyde.
Food distribution will begin at 8 a.m. and will continue until 1 p.m.
Those participating must provide proof of income for 2013. The mobile food pantry makes deliveries to this area every third Thursday and food is distributed free of charge, without discrimination.
Regular food bank hours are 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays at the College Street location.
