| | Lindell Street Grill in Martin was recently voted “Best Taste” at the “Taste of Weakley and Obion Counties” Gala and Auction benefiting the local Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse. Accepting the award at Lindell Street Grill were Heather Laird, owners Jimmy and Angela Sinis, and Tracy Groeneveld. With a sports theme “Team Up Against Child Abuse”, the Gala was a night featuring sports games, music, auctions and plenty of “tailgating” cuisine. Each year, local restaurants generously offer an abundance of their delicious food during the night inside the Volunteer Distributing Company in Dresden on Highway 22. Restaurants and vendors participating this year were Sodexo Campus Services, The Opera House, Pepsi Mid America, Coca Cola Company, Lindell Street Grill, Wendy’s, Winnie’s Catering, Sandra and Company Catering, Hunt Bros. Pizza, Cluckers Catering, Damron’s BBQ, La Cabana, Domino’s Pizza, Higher Ground Coffee Co., 3J’s and Celebration Duo Catering. | | | | |
