AWARD PRESENTED —Hazel Hankerson, a Special Education teacher at Sharon School, received a Mugs and Kisses Award from Horace Mann Agent Angie Miller of Miller Insurance & Financial Services. Ms. Hankerson earned the monthly recognition because of her enthusiasm and dedication to her students. She is a huge asset to the school and her students.  She is a well-deserving candidate. Mugs and Kisses is sponsored by Miller because she supports exemplary local school teachers whenever possible.  “Our company namesake, 19th Century statesman Horace Mann, wrote, “’It is well to think well; it is divine to act well.”  “Ms. Hankerson acts well and shows so much compassion.  It is a privilege to honor her in this small way.”
